Calela is a small tourist town of the Costa del Maresme, in the Province of Barcelona, Spain, and has about 17,000 inhabitants.
This is a small municipality that, in the 1970's and 80's, was a first-class main tourist destination for Europeans, especially for Germans. The Playa de Calella is its main attraction, though today there are more things to do in this town besides going to the beach.
