Barcalona, Spain was the official site of the 1992 Olympics, an event that was a marker in its history that changed this city forever and gave way to infrastructures such as the Villa Olimpica and all kinds of transport. 169 countries were represented in the Olympic Games in 1992, that brought almost 10,000 athletes, 24 different sports, and over 200 specialties. It was all so successfully organized that Barcelona got grecognition from the International Olympic Community, which left the Olympic Stadium and the Villa Olimpica in their legacy. |
